Point-to-point and multipoint equipment provides service by using a network bridge to send and receive signals from one network to another. For example, if you put a dish antenna on the top of one building and pointed it at another on a second building, the two could be calibrated to operate as a bridge between the two networks. This would bypass the need to connect WiFi equipment directly to each structure.

Creating a Point-to-Multipoint Bridge

If your business or facility needs to create a point-to-multipoint bridge, then you’ll first need base station equipment to serve as the primary distributor, followed by a series of subscriber modules. The subscriber modules serve as the access points for each network, while the base station is the hub for all connectivity.
